(This is written by Chen Wenjie, English editor in charge of Tourism English Studio）On the morning of May 13th, 2022 ,the "Campus Open Day" of Vocational Education Week was held in Hainan Economic and Business College , allowing students to "cloud" tour the campus. As the only live broadcast major of the School of International Education --Tourism English major, under the leadership of Professor He Chun ，we strive for excellence. The online live broadcast of Tourism English major ends perfectly.
With the theme of "Skills: Better Life", the Tourism English major held a variety of tourism-themed professional activities, showcasing the fruitful achievements of the Tourism English Studio. During the live rehearsal, the students of Tourism English Studio overcame difficulties and participated in the whole rehearsal. Some students even insisted on rehearsing despite illness. In order to achieve perfection, the students cooperated with each other and recorded performances and took photos to find out our shortcomings.
No pains, no gains. The live broadcast on May 13 went very smoothly. The students showed the elegant style of the people working on Tourism English and were highly appreciated by the leaders, teachers and students in our school. Please look at the official report of the Tourism English major from Hainan College of Economics and Business : teachers and students dressed in Li Miao costumes sang an English version of Hainan folk song "Long Time No See, Long Time No See". The English play May 4^th Movement, which is filled with patriotic enthusiasm , is rather impressive and shocking. This is an exhibition with fluent English introduction to Hainan amorous feelings, rich study trips and creative Tourism English theme design. While demonstrating students' solid language skills, they also fulfill their mission of singing Hainan folk songs, telling Hainan stories and spreading Chinese culture.
Although the live broadcast lasted only five minutes, it embodied the efforts of all the teachers and students majoring Tourism English . They enjoyed the joy of the live broadcast and gained a lot of friendship and professional charm of Tourism English.
